Power of Prayer - The Most Valuable Dialogue of Your Life
It’s the most powerful weapon on Earth. It can turn the impossible to the possible in a matter of seconds. Yet, few people even Christians seem to take advantage of this free, priceless commodity. The name of this mighty weapon you may ask? Prayer: The act of conversing with God; the intercourse of the soul with God, not in contemplation or meditation, but in direct address to him. Beneficiaries of the Promise
The gospel started with Abraham. That is why Scripture says he was introduced to the gospel in advance. If anyone was ever a religious fanatic it was Abraham. Because he passed the test, we have the blessings of being in Christ.

The Big Choice
The Big Choice
“Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in and eat with you, and you will eat with me.”
REVELATION 3:20, NCV
Jesus gives this invitation. To know God is to receive His invitation. Not just to hear it, not just to study it, not just to acknowledge it, but to receive it. It is possible to learn much about God’s invitation and never respond to it personally.
Yet His invitation is clear and nonnegotiable. He gives all and we give Him all. Simple and absolute. He is clear in what He asks and clear in what He offers. The choice is up to us.

Health Implications of Chronic Stress
The most damaging type of stress research has found was chronic stress, caused, for example, by unemployment or caring for a relative with mental illness - both situations which have no end in sight. These have damaging effects on the whole immune system. The key to it all, the researchers concluded, was whether the stress was never-ending or short-term. It was discovered that even the extreme stress of losing a partner was nowhere near as bad as chronic stress.
