ANY time we connect with something or someone, we're also connected with Spirit (also known as God, the Universe, Higher Power, the Source). From the moment we wake to the moment we fall asleep at night, our ears and brains are required to deal with a multitude of low frequency sounds that drain the brain of energy and cause stress. Noise may not be the sole cause of the stress and other health issues we experience, but it is most certainly one source. Health Implications of Chronic Stress
The most damaging type of stress research has found was chronic stress, caused, for example, by unemployment or caring for a relative with mental illness - both situations which have no end in sight. These have damaging effects on the whole immune system. The key to it all, the researchers concluded, was whether the stress was never-ending or short-term. It was discovered that even the extreme stress of losing a partner was nowhere near as bad as chronic stress.
